We have made flag of Ukraine in one of the previously published instructions. Today I want to show another variation of this flag. We are going to make it in a shape of hat or crown. Inflate one blue and one yellow balloons leaving about 14 - 15 cm flat tail (Pic 1).
Tie nozzles of both balloons in one knot (Pic 2).
We are going to twist all bubbles of the same about 4 - 5 cm size (Pic 3).
Twist the first two blue and the first two yellow bubbles (Pic 4).
Lock free ends of the last blue and the last yellow bubbles in one lock (Pic 5).
Twist the next pair of blue and pair of yellow bubble. Lock free ends of the last blue and the last yellow bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 6). Basically, we already have made the smallest flag of Ukraine.
Work in this fashion to the end of the balloons. I have made total of 14 bubbles of each color in this example (Pic 7). You may need to make more bubbles for large hat.
Wrap the balloon around your head to measure the size (Pic 8).
Tie the ends of the last bubbles with the nozzles of the balloons. Cut off the rest of the balloons (Pic 9 and 10).
Congratulations! We have made the flag of Ukraine out of balloons in a shape of hat or crown (Pic 11 and 12). Have fun and happy twisting :)
