How to make balloon crocodile


Materials: a balloon; an air pump; scissors and a permanent marker.

Inflate a green balloon leaving a five—inch flat tail (Pic 1).

Twist the first four—inch bubble (Pic 2).

The next five bubbles you twist in the pop up twist to make the arms or front legs. Twist the second two—inch bubble (Pic 3).

Twist the third soft one—inch bubble (Pic 4).

Twist the fourth one—inch bubble (Pic 5). You will pop this bubble.

Twist the fifth soft one—inch bubble (Pic 6).

Twist the sixth two—inch bubble (Pic 7).

Lock both ends of the chain of the last five (the second through the sixth) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 8). This step is marked with arrows between points A and F on the scheme.

Twist the seventh four—inch bubble (Pic 9). It’s the body.

The next five bubbles you twist in the pop up twist to make the rear legs. Twist the eighth two—inch bubble (Pic 10).

Twist the ninth soft one—inch bubble (Pic 11).

Twist the tenth one—inch bubble (Pic 12). You will pop the tenth bubble.

Twist the 11th soft one—inch bubble (Pic 13).

Twist the 12th two—inch bubble (Pic 14).

Lock both ends of the chain of the last five (the eighth through the twelfth) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 15). This step is marked with arrows between points G and L on the scheme.

Lock both ends of the third bubble in one lock twist (Pic 16). This step is marked with arrows between points B and C on the scheme.

Lock both ends of the fifth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 17). This step is marked with arrows between points D and E on the scheme.

Lock both ends of the ninth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 18). This step is marked with arrows between points H and I on the scheme.

Lock both ends of the 11th bubble in one lock twist (Pic 19). This step is marked with arrows between points J and K on the scheme.

Pop the fourth bubble (Pic 20).

Pop the tenth bubble (Pic 21).

You have made the body with the neck (Pic 22 through 24).



You may attach a head to the body to make almost any animal or use the body as a sculpture of a crocodile. Use the permanent marker to draw the face and the skin of the crocodile (Pic 25 and 26). Congratulations, you have made the crocodile. Have fun and happy twisting :)
