First we are going to make the head of the monkey. Inflate a pink balloon leaving a four—inch flat tail (Pic 1).

Twist the first four—inch bubble (Pic 2).

Lock both ends of the first bubble in one lock twist (Pic 3). This step is marked with arrows between points A and B on the scheme. You have made an ear.

Twist the second five—inch bubble (Pic 4).

Twist the third four—inch bubble (Pic 5).

Lock both ends of the third bubble in one lock twist (Pic 6). This step is marked with arrows between points C and D on the scheme. You have made the second ear.

Twist the fourth five—inch bubble (Pic 7).

Lock both ends of the chain of the last three bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 8). This step is marked with arrows between points E and B on the scheme.

Twist the fifth five—inch bubble (Pic 9).

Lock the free end of the fifth bubble around the third bubble (Pic 10). This step is marked with arrows between points F and D on the scheme.

Twist the sixth three—inch bubble (Pic 11).

Twist the seventh three—inch bubble (Pic 12).

Lock the free end of the seventh bubble around the first bubble (Pic 13). This step is marked with arrows between points H and B on the scheme. The rest of the balloon is the eighth bubble.

Lock the free end of the eighth bubble around the third bubble (Pic 14 through 16). This step is marked with red arrows between points C and I on the scheme. Make sure the eighth bubble is about five—inch long.

Use a white balloon to make the eyes. Inflate and tie off up to three—inch bubble (Pic 17).

Split this bubble in half and twist two bubbles of the same size (Pic 18).

You have made the head (pink balloon) and the eyes (white balloon). Lock the eye bubbles between the sixth and the seventh bubbles of the head (Pic 19 and 20).

You have made the head. Make a body with a neck (see instruction "body 5"). Make sure the neck is long enough to get it through the head bubbles up to the eyes. Push the neck (the first bubble of the body) between the second and the fourth bubbles of the head and then fix the neck between the eighth and the fifth bubbles of the head all the way up to the eye bubbles (Pic 21 through 23).

Tie the nozzle of the body balloon between the sixth and the seventh (point G on the scheme) bubbles of the head (Pic 24).

Pull the neck and the head slightly apart. It brings the eye bubbles down closer to the head bubbles (Pic 25 through 27).

Use the permanent marker to draw the face of the monkey (Pic 28). Congratulations, you have made the monkey. This monkey is good friend (Boots) of Dora the Explorer.
Have fun and happy twisting :)
