We are going to make a rooster. Inflate a balloon leaving a seven—inch flat tail (Pic 1).

Twist the first two—inch bubble (Pic 2).

Twist the second one—inch bubble (Pic 3).

Twist the third one—inch bubble (Pic 4).

Twist the fourth soft one—inch bubble (Pic 5).

Lock both ends of the chain of the first four (the first through the fourth) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 6). This step is marked with arrows between points A and C on the scheme.

Lock both ends of the fourth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 7). This step is marked with arrows between points B and C on the scheme.

Twist the fifth two—inch bubble (Pic 8).

Twist the sixth soft one—inch bubble (Pic 9).

Lock both ends of the sixth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 10). This step is marked with arrows between points D and E on the scheme. This bubble keeps a beak in a proper position.

The next two bubbles you twist of the same size to make the beak. Twist the seventh one—inch bubble (Pic 11).

Twist the eighth one—inch bubble (Pic 12).

Lock both ends of the chain of the last two (the seventh and the eighth) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 13). This step is marked with arrows between points E and F on the scheme.

Twist the ninth two—inch bubble (Pic 14). It is the neck.

Twist the tenth soft one—inch bubble (Pic 15).

Lock both ends of the tenth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 16). This step is marked with arrows between points G and H on the scheme. The tenth bubble keeps the neck in a proper position.

The next three bubbles you twist in the bird body fold. Twist the eleventh three—inch bubble (Pic 17).

Twist the twelfth three—inch bubble (Pic 18).

Lock both ends of the chain of the last two (the 11th and the 12th) bubbles in one lock twist. This step is marked with arrows between points H and J on the scheme (Pic 19).

Twist the thirteenth three—inch bubble (Pic 20).

Lock the free end of the thirteenth bubble (the point K on the scheme) between the eleventh and the twelfth bubble. You have to roll the eleventh and the twelfth bubble around the thirteenth bubble (Pic 21). This step is marked with red arrows between points K and I on the scheme. You have made the bird body.

The next four bubbles you twist to make the tail. Twist the fourteenth three—inch bubble (Pic 22).

Twist the fifteenth one—inch bubble (Pic 23).

Twist the 16th one—inch bubble (Pic 24).

Twist the seventeenth one—inch bubble (Pic 25).

Lock both ends of the chain of the last four (the fourteenth through the seventeenth) bubbles in one lock twist. This step is marked with arrows between points K and L on the scheme. The rest of the balloon is the eighteenth bubble (Pic 26 through 28).

Use a permanent marker to draw the eyes and wings. You made the rooster. You can use the eighteenth bubble as legs (Pic 29).

Or use another balloon to make legs. Cut off the eighteenth bubble and attach legs between the body and the tail (Pic 30 through 33).

The rooster looks nice on a top of three fold hat (Pic 34 and 35). Have fun and happy twisting :)
