We are going to use two balloons to make a heart. Inflate a blue balloon leaving an eight—inch flat tail (Pic 1).

We are going to twist twenty bubbles. It’s important to twist all bubbles of the same about one inch size. Making bubbles of different sizes would distort the sculpture. Twist the first bubble (Pic 2).

Twist the second bubble (Pic 3).

Lock both ends of the second bubble in one lock twist (Pic 4). This step is marked with arrows between points B and C on the scheme 1.

Twist the third bubble (Pic 5).

Twist the fourth bubble (Pic 6).

Lock both ends of the fourth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 7). This step is marked with arrows between points D and E on the scheme 1.

Twist the fifth bubble (Pic 8).

Twist the sixth bubble (Pic 9).

Lock both ends of the sixth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 10). This step is marked with arrows between points F and G on the scheme 1.

Twist the seventh bubble (Pic 11).

Lock both ends of the chain of the first seven (the first through the seventh) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 12). This step is marked with arrows between points A and H on the scheme 1.

Twist the eighth bubble (Pic 13).

Twist the ninth bubble (Pic 14).

Twist the tenth bubble (Pic 15).

Lock both ends of the tenth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 16). This step is marked with arrows between points J and K on the scheme 1.

Twist the eleventh bubble (Pic 17).

Twist the twelfth bubble (Pic 18).

Twist the twentieth bubble (Pic 31).

The rest of the balloon is the 21st bubble. Lock both ends of the chain of the first twenty (the first through the 20th) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 32 and 33). This step is marked with arrows between points A and U on the scheme 1.

Cut off the 21st bubble and tie off the end. Inflate the pink balloon leaving an eight—inch flat tail (Pic 34).

We are going to twist 15 bubbles. It’s important to make all bubbles of the same about one inch sizes. Twist the first pink bubble (Pic 35).

Twist the fourteenth pink bubble (Pic 58).

Lock both ends of the chain of the first fourteen pink (the first through the fourteenth) bubbles in one lock twist. This step is marked with arrows between points A and K on the scheme 2. The rest of the pink balloon is the fifteenth bubble (Pic 59).

Congratulations, you have made the heart! You can cut off the fifteenth pink bubble and tie off the end (Pic 60).

Or you can keep the fifteenth pink bubble to make a handle or a braceletLock both ends of the fifteenth pink bubble in one lock twist to make a bracelet (Pic 61 and 62).

Below is an example of one color heart (Pic 63 and 64). Have fun and happy twisting :)
