We have made many different balloon flowers in the past. Some of them are quite simple to make. We can use those simple flowers to make different balloon sculptures. In the following instruction I am going to use small size four petals flowers to make balloon sculpture that  may represent lilac, dandelion or some other flowers. Note: we can make flowers with different number and size of petals for this balloon sculpture. I am going to use each balloon to make a pair of four petals flowers. Choose balloon of the same color as the flower you want to make. Inflate balloon leaving about 11 - 12 cm flat tail (Pic 1).

Twist the first about 8 cm bubble (Pic 2).

Lock both ends of the 1st bubble in one lock twist (Pic 3). We have made the first petal.

Twist the second about 8 cm bubble (Pic 4).

Lock both ends of the 2nd bubble in one lock twist (Pic 5). We have made 2 petals.

Twist the 3rd about 8 cm bubble (Pic 6).

Lock both ends of the 3rd bubble in one lock twist (Pic 7). We have made 3 petals. Actually, you can use three petals flowers to make dandelion, lilac or some other flowers.

Twist the fourth about 8 cm bubble (Pic 8).

Lock both ends of the 4th bubble in one lock twist (Pic 9). Congratulations, we have made the four petals flower.

Twist the fifth and the sixth about 8 cm bubbles (Pic 10). We have made stems for two flowers.

Twist the 7th about 8 cm bubble (Pic 11). You can let the 5th and the 6th bubbles to untwist for now.

Lock both ends of the 7th bubble in one lock twist (Pic 12). We made the first petal of the second flower.

Twist the 8th about 8 cm bubble (Pic 13).

Lock both ends of the 8th bubble in one lock twist (Pic 14). We made the 2nd petal of the 2nd flower.

Twist the 9th about 8 cm bubble (Pic 15).

Lock both ends of the 9th bubble in one lock twist (Pic 16). We have made the 3rd petal of the 2nd flower.

Twist the 10th about 8 cm bubble (Pic 17).

Lock both ends of the 10th bubble in one lock twist (Pic 18). We made the 4th petal of the 2nd flower.

You can cut off rest part of the balloon. Tie off the end (Pic 19 and 20)

Both flowers share the same stem. It makes it look like a bone. I am going to make total of 4 pairs of flowers in this example.

Twist the stem bubbles (Pic 21).

Lock free ends of the 1st pair of stem bubbles with the second pair of stem bubbles (Pic 22 through 24).

We can use this cross to make pirates sign.

Lock the free ends of the third pair of stem bubbles at the center of our sculpture (Pic 25 through 27).

Lock the free ends of the fourth pair of stem bubbles at the center of our sculpture (Pic 28 through 30).

We have made the flower. We can use it as it is instead of a ball to play indoor games. Or we can attach some more flowers at the center of the sculpture.

I am going to use a green balloon to make stem with leaves for our sculpture. Inflate green balloon leaving about 7 - 8 cm flat tail (Pic 31).

Tie nozzle of the green balloon at the center of our flower (Pic 32).

We can make stems of different shapes with different number of leaves. Note: we can attach additional pairs of flowers directly to the green stem. Just separate them from the flowers on the top  by making about 3 cm green bubbles. I think it's better to attach 4 small stems at one point and so on. It would increase size of the sculpture and give it different shape. In this example I will keep it simple. Twist the 1st green about 15 - 20 cm bubble (Pic 33).

Then I made the 2nd and the 3rd about 25 cm bubbles. And lock all ends of the 2nd and the 3rd bubbles in one lock twist. We have made the stem with two leaves (Pic 34 and 35).

I like to make the stem with 3 leaves. Twist the 4th about 25 cm bubble. Lock both ends of the 4th bubble in one lock twist. There is enough of flat tail left to make funny tail at the end of the balloon (Pic 36). Congratulations, we have made the lilac balloon flower.

In the following example I am going to use clear color balloons to make the same balloon sculpture as we did above (Pic 37 through 45). This time it will represent the dandelion flower.

This time it looks even more like a pirate sign!

In this example I am going to make the stem with only one large size leaf (Pic 46 through 50).

Congratulations again, we have made lilac and dandelion balloon flowers. Have to admit that it is a very large size dandelion :) Never the less, it's quite recognizable even in this over sized form. You can try to make it smaller using 160's balloons.  I work only with 260's as you know. Would really appreciate if you share a picture or video of dandelion made of 160's balloons. Have fun and happy twisting :)
