Inflate a balloon leaving a two—inch flat tail (Pic 1).

The next bubbles you twist to make the eyes. Twist the second one—inch bubble (Pic 3).

Twist the third one—inch bubble (Pic 4).

Lock both ends of the chain of the last two bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 5). This step is marked with arrows between point A and B on the scheme.

The next three bubbles you twist in the bird body fold to make a hood. Twist the fourth five—inch bubble (Pic 6).

Twist the fifth five—inch bubble (Pic 7).

Lock both ends of the chain of the last two bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 8 and 9). This step is marked with arrows between the point B and D on the scheme.

Twist the sixth four—inch bubble (Pic 10).

Lock the free end of the 6th bubble between the fourth and the fifth bubbles (Pic 11 and 12). You have to roll the fourth and the fifth bubbles around the sixth bubble. This step is marked with arrows between the point E and C on the scheme. The rest of the balloon is the seventh bubble. It is the tail.

Wrap the seventh bubble tightly around your hand to shape the tail of the cobra you can (Pic 13).

The tail keeps the serpentine shape after you release it from your hand (Pic 14 through 16). Use a permanent marker to draw the face. Congratulations, you have made the cobra.
Have fun and happy twisting :)
