Balloon S


Materials: a balloon; an air pump; sewing thread and scissors.

Inflate a balloon leaving a five—inch flat tail (Pic 1).

Twist the first soft one—inch bubble (Pic 2).

Lock both ends of the first bubble in one lock twist (Pic 3). This step is marked with arrows between points A and B on the scheme.

Twist the second one—inch bubble (Pic 4).

Twist the third soft one—inch bubble (Pic 5).

Lock both ends of the third bubble in one lock twist (Pic 6). This step is marked with arrows between points C and D on the scheme.

Twist the fourth three—inch bubble (Pic 7).

Twist the fifth soft one—inch bubble (Pic 8).

Lock both ends of the fifth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 9). This step is marked with arrows between points E and F on the scheme.

Twist the sixth three—inch bubble (Pic 10).

Twist the 7th soft one—inch bubble (Pic 11).

Lock both ends of the 7th bubble in one lock twist (Pic 12). This step is marked with arrows between points G and H on the scheme.

Twist the eighth three—inch bubble (Pic 13).

Twist the 9th soft one—inch bubble (Pic 14).

Lock both ends of the ninth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 15). This step is marked with arrows between points J and I on the scheme.

Twist the tenth three—inch bubble (Pic 16).

Twist the eleventh soft one—inch bubble (Pic 17).

Lock both ends of the 11th bubble in one lock twist (Pic 18). This step is marked with arrows between points K and L on the scheme.

Twist the 12th three—inch bubble (Pic 19).

Twist the 13th soft one—inch bubble (Pic 20).

Lock both ends of the thirteenth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 21). This step is marked with arrows between points M and N on the scheme.

Twist the 14th one—inch bubble. Twist the fifteenth soft one—inch bubble (Pic 22).

Lock both ends of the fifteenth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 23). This step is marked with arrows between points O and P on the scheme. The rest of the balloon is the sixteenth bubble. Cut off the sixteenth bubble and tie off the end.

Congratulations, you have made the capital letter S. Choose appropriate color sewing thread to link the letter S with other letters. As you can see here the light color thread is hardly visible on a light background. After you made and connected all letters in words you can attach the signs you made to a wall with a sticky tape.
