We are going to make a serpent. Inflate a balloon leaving a two—inch flat tail (Pic 1).

The first two bubbles you twist to make the eyes. Twist the first one—inch bubble (Pic 2).

Twist the second one—inch bubble (Pic 3).

Lock both ends of the chain of the first two bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 4). This step is marked with arrows between the point A and B on the scheme.

Twist the third one—inch bubble (Pic 5).

Twist the fourth six—inch bubble (Pic 6).

Lock both ends of the fourth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 7). This step is marked with arrows between the point C and D on the scheme.

Force and fix the third bubble in the loop of the fourth bubble (Pic 8 through 10). The eyes bubbles stay on one side of the loop and the third bubble protrudes on the other side of the loop. You have made the head. The rest of the balloon is the fifth bubble. It is the tail.

Wrap the fifth bubble tightly around your arm. Then release it to shape the tail of the snake (Pic 11).

The tail keeps the serpentine shape after you release it from your hand (Pic 12 through 14). Use the permanent marker to draw the face. Congratulations, you have made the snake.
Have fun and happy twisting :)
