Balloon T


Materials: a balloon; an air pump; sewing thread and scissors.

Inflate a balloon leaving a five—inch flat tail (Pic 1).

Twist the first soft two—inch bubble (Pic 2).

Lock both ends of the first bubble in one lock twist (Pic 3). This step is marked with arrows between points A and B on the scheme.

Twist the second six—inch bubble (Pic 4).

Twist the third soft two—inch bubble (Pic 5).

Lock both ends of the third bubble in one lock twist (Pic 6). This step is marked with arrows between points C and D on the scheme.

Twist the fourth three—inch bubble (Pic 7).

Twist the fifth soft two—inch bubble (Pic 8).

Lock both ends of the fifth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 9). This step is marked with arrows between points E and F on the scheme.

Twist the six two—inch bubble (Pic 10). You will pop the sixth bubble.

Twist the 7th soft two—inch bubble (Pic 11).

Lock both ends of the 7th bubble in one lock twist (Pic 12). This step is marked with arrows between points G and H on the scheme.

Twist the eighth three—inch bubble (Pic 13).

Lock both ends of the chain of the last five (the fourth through the eighth) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 14). This step is marked with arrows between points D and I on the scheme.

Pop the sixth bubble (Pic 15). The rest of the balloon is the ninth bubble.

Cut off the ninth bubble and tie off the end (Pic 16). Congratulations, you have made the capital letter T. Choose appropriate color sewing thread to link the letter T with other letters. As you can see here the light color thread is hardly visible on a light background. After you made and connected all letters in words you can attach the signs you made to a wall with a sticky tape.
