Buy an air pump on Amazon (paid link):

Inflate a balloon leaving about 10 cm flat tail (Pic 1).

Twist the first about 5-8 cm bubble (Pic 2). It is a muzzle of the bat.

Twist the second soft about 3 cm bubble. Lock both ends of the second bubble in one lock twist (Pic 3). We have made an ear of the bat.

Twist the third soft about 3 cm bubble. Lock both ends of the third bubble in one lock twist (Pic 4). We have made the second ear.

Twist the fourth about 15-20 cm bubble (Pic 5).

Twist the fifth soft about 3 cm bubble. Lock both ends of the fifth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 6).

Twist the sixth bubble about 5 cm longer than the fourth bubble. In this example the sixth bubble is about 20-22 cm long.

Twist the seventh about 10 cm bubble (Pic 8). It is the body of the bat.

Lock both ends of the chain of the last four (the fourth through the seventh) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 9). We have made one wing.

Twist the eighth bubble of the same size as the fourth bubble (Pic 10).

Twist the ninth soft about 3 cm bubble. Lock both ends of the ninth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 11).

Twist the tenth bubble of the same size as the sixth bubble. Make sure to leave about 5 cm bubble at the end of the balloon. Lock both ends of the chain of the last four (the seventh through the tenth) bubbles in one lock twist. Basically, we already made the bat (Pic 12). You can keep it as it is.

We can split the rest of the balloon on two bubbles of the same size to make legs (Pic 13). It's easier to make with soft bubble.

In this example I use white correction liquid to paint the face of the bat (Pic 14 through 17). Congratulations! We have made the one balloon bat and the balloon vampire!

We can use different color balloons (black, gray, brown) to make the bats. Purple, orange, or red works fine for making balloon vampires for Halloween. Have fun and happy twisting :)
