Buy an air pump on Amazon (paid link):

Inflate a green balloon leaving about 2 cm flat tail (Pic 1).

Twist the first about 25 cm bubble. Lock both ends of the first bubble in one lock twist (Pix 2).

Twist the second bubble of the same size as the first bubble. Lock both ends of the second bubble in one lock twist. Make sure the first and the second bubbles of the same size (Pic 3).

Twist the third about 5 - 6 cm bubble (Pic 4).

Twist the fourth soft about 3 cm bubble (Pic 5).

Lock both ends of the fourth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 6). The fourth bubble is the additional bubble. We can make the hat without the 4th bubble! However, the 4th bubble helps to shape the top of the hat. I will show examples of hats with and without the additional bubble at end of this post.

Fully inflate yellow balloon (Pic 7).

Force one end of the yellow balloon through the loop of the first green bubble. Force the other end of the yellow balloon through the loop of the second green bubble (Pic 8).

Tie both ends of the yellow balloon in one knot. For my convenience I twist small about 3 cm bubbles at each end of the yellow balloon. And then lock free ends of both small yellow bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 9 and 10).

Twist a small about 3 cm bubble at the end of the green balloon (Pic 11).

Lock the free end of the last green bubble between the ends of the yellow balloon (Pic 12 - 14). We have made the baseball cap.

I am going to use a white balloon to make the eyes. Inflate the white balloon (or scrap of white balloon) making about 20 - 25 cm bubble (Pic 15).

Tie the nozzle of the white balloon with the fourth green bubble (Pic 16).

Twist the first soft white about 7 - 8 cm bubble. Lock the free end of the first white bubble between the first two green bubbles. Twist the second soft white bubble of the same size as the first white bubble. Lock the free end of the second white bubble with the fourth green bubble (Pic 17 and 18). We have made the eye bubbles.

Cut off the rest of the white balloon and tie off the end. Use a permanent black marker to draw the eyes. Congratulations! We have made the duck balloon hat. As I mentioned it in previously published instruction "Baseball balloon cap" - it is my favorite balloon hat! One size fits all! On the pictures below you may see two identically looking duck balloon hats (Pic 19 through 22). The first hat does not have the additional (the 4th) small green bubble (Pic 19 and 20).

The hat with the additional (the 4th) green bubble has better rounded top (Pic 21 and 22). The difference is noticeable only from the side. Have fun and happy twisting :)
