Balloon tiger

Materials: a balloon; an air pump and a permanent marker.


Inflate a balloon leaving a five—inch flat tail (Pic 1).

Twist the first one—inch bubble. This is the nose (Pic 2).

The next three bubbles you twist in the bird body fold to make the muzzle. Twist the second three—inch bubble (Pic 3).

Twist the third three—inch bubble (Pic 4).

Lock both ends of the chain of the last two (the second and the third) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 5). This step is marked with arrows between points A and C on the scheme.

Twist the fourth three—inch bubble (Pic 6).

Lock the free end of the fourth bubble between the second and the third bubbles (Pic 7). This step is marked with red arrows between point B and D on the scheme. You have made the muzzle of the tiger.

Twist the fifth two—inch bubble (Pic 8).

Twist the sixth two—inch bubble (Pic 9).

Twist the seventh two—inch bubble (Pic 10).

Twist the eighth soft two—inch bubble. You will twist this bubble in the ear twist (Pic 11).

Twist the ninth two—inch bubble (Pic 12).

Twist the tenth soft two—inch bubble. You will twist this bubble in the ear twist (Pic 13).

Twist the eleventh two—inch bubble (Pic 14).

Lock both ends of the chain of the last five (the seventh through the eleventh) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 15). This step is marked with arrows between points E and J on the scheme. You have made a loop of five bubbles. The rest of the balloon is the twelfth bubble. It is the neck.

Pull the first four bubbles through the loop of the last five bubbles (Pic 16 and 17).


Lock both ends of the eighth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 18). This step is marked with arrows between points F and G on the scheme. You have made the ear.

Lock both ends of the tenth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 19). This step is marked with arrows between points H and I on the scheme. You have made the second ear.

Use the permanent marker to draw the face (Pic 20 and 21).


You may attach the head to the body 4  (Pic 22 through 24) or to any hatCongratulations, you have made the tiger 1. 



Use pink color balloons to make the pink panther (Pic 25 and 26). Have fun and happy twisting :)
