Balloon mouth

This tutorials for adults only!
Balloons pop. Balloons can be a serious choking hazard. Adult supervision is required for children with balloons at all times. Balloons are not for toddlers. Keep balloon away from face.

Materials: a balloon and an air pump.
We are going to use basic three fold hat to make lips or scuba mask. Inflate a red balloon leaving about one-inch flat tail (Pic 1).

Twist the first soft one-inch bubble (Pic 2).

Lock both ends of the first bubble in one lock twist (Pic 3).

Fold the balloon three times to measure the size of the second bubble (Pic 4).

Twist the third soft one-inch bubble. Lock both ends of the third bubble in one lock twist (Pic 5).

Twist the fourth bubble of the same (one third of the balloon) size as the second bubble (Pic 6).

Lock both ends of the chain of the last three bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 7). We have made basic two fold hat. The rest of the balloon is the fifth bubble.

Lock the free end of the fifth bubble with the third bubble (Pic 8 and 9). We have made the three fold hat.

Fix one of the long bubbles (the second, or the fourth, or the fifth) in a shape of lip (Pic 10).

Congratulations, we have made the lips (Pic 11). We can use any color balloon to make scuba mask working in the same fashion as we did the lips. And again, it's not safe to use it as wearable over face.

We can use chain of white one-inch bubbles to make teeth. Also, I lock both ends of every other bubble in one lock twist to prevent bubbles from untwisting (Pic 12).

Lock one end of the chain of teeth bubbles with the first red bubble. Lock the other end of the chain of teeth bubbles with the third red bubble (Pic 13).

Cut off the rest of the white balloon (Pic 14).

Fix all bubbles in proper positions. I think it is enough to make just upper teeth (Pic 15). We can use this sculpture as it it or as a part of large size sculptures.

Life is life. Balloon twisters make sculptures of what we can see in real life, even things that pleasant only for mature people. Be aware of adults! Expect to hear comments and all kind of "adults" suggestions when you making sculpture of lips. At this point I let you unleash your"adults" imagination ... you can add stuff to this sculpture, attach the sculpture to different places, turn it to represent different parts and so on. Here is an example with a cigarette (Pic 16 through 20). Smoking is bad. Tobacco kills people.

And here are examples of wearable lips (Pic 21 through 30). Have fun and happy twisting :)
