Balloon cross


Materials: one balloon, an air pump and scissors.

Inflate a balloon leaving a three—inch flat tail (Pic 1).

Twist the first soft one—inch bubble (Pic 2).

Lock both ends of the first bubble in one lock twist (Pic 3). This step is marked with arrows between points A and B on the scheme.

Twist the second five—inch bubble (Pic 4).

Twist the third soft one—inch bubble (Pic 5).

Lock both ends of the third bubble in one lock twist (Pic 6). This step is marked with arrows between points C and D on the scheme.

Twist the fourth five—inch bubble (Pic 7).

Twist the fifth soft one—inch bubble (Pic 8).

Twist the sixth one—inch bubble (Pic 9). You will pop this bubble.

Twist the seventh soft one—inch bubble (Pic 10).

Twist the eighth five—inch bubble (Pic 11).

Lock both ends of the chain of the last five (the fourth through the eighth) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 12). This step is marked with arrows between points D and I on the scheme.

Lock both ends of the fifth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 13). This step is marked with arrows between points E and F on the scheme.

Lock both ends of the seventh bubble in one lock twist (Pic 14). This step is marked with arrows between points G and H on the scheme.

Twist the ninth soft one—inch bubble (Pic 15).

Lock both ends of the ninth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 16). This step is marked with arrows between points J and I on the scheme.

Pop the sixth bubble (Pic 17).

Fix all bubbles in proper positions to shape the cross. Congratulations, you have made the cross (Pic 18). The cross is a very important symbol of Christianity. It’s always a good time to teach your children the goodwill and kindness. This sculpture may help you to start it.
