We start with the light green balloon for the trunk. The first two bubbles you twist to hold a decoration (a star for instance) on the top of the tree. Inflate a balloon leaving a two—inch flat tail (Pic 1).
Twist the first soft one—inch bubble (Pic 2).
Lock both ends of the first bubble in one lock twist (Pic 3). This step is marked with arrows between points A and B on the scheme 1.
Twist the second soft one—inch bubble (Pic 4).
Lock both ends of the second bubble in one lock twist (Pic 5). This step is marked with arrows between points B and C on the scheme 2.
Inflate four dark green balloons leaving a four—inch flat tail (Pic 6). We are going to twist each of the four dark green balloons in the same way: making the same size bubbles and attaching them at the same spots.
Twist the third two—inch bubble of the light green balloon (Pic 7).
Lock the nozzle of the dark green balloon with the free end of the third bubble (Point D on the scheme 1) of the light green balloon (Pic 8).
Twist the first dark green four—inch bubble (Pic 9).
Twist the second dark green soft one—inch bubble (Pic 10).
Lock both ends of the second dark green bubble in one lock twist (Pic 11). This step is marked with arrows between points B and C on the scheme 2.
Twist the third dark green three—inch bubble (Pic 12).
Twist the fourth light green three—inch bubble (Pic 13).
Lock the free end of the third dark green bubble (Point D on the scheme 2) with the free end of the fourth bubble (Point E on the scheme 1) of the light green balloon (Pic 14).
Twist the fourth dark green five—inch bubble (Pic 15).
Twist the fifth dark green soft one—inch bubble (Pic 16).
Lock both ends of the fifth dark green bubble in one lock twist (Pic 17). This step is marked with arrows between points E and F on the scheme 2.
Twist the sixth dark green four—inch bubble (Pic 18).
Twist the fifth light green four—inch bubble (Pic 19).
Lock the free end of the sixth dark green bubble (Point G on the scheme 2) with the free end of the fifth bubble (Point F on the scheme 1) of the light green balloon (Pic 20).
Twist the seventh dark green six—inch bubble (Pic 21).
Twist the eighth dark green soft one—inch bubble (Pic 22).
Lock both ends of the eighth dark green bubble in one lock twist (Pic 23). This step is marked with arrows between points H and I on the scheme 2.
Twist the sixth light green five—inch bubble. Twist the ninth dark green five—inch bubble (Pic 24).
Lock the free end of the sixth light green bubble (Point G on the scheme 1) with the free end of the ninth bubble (Point J on the scheme 2) of the dark green balloon (Pic 25). The rest of the light green balloon is the seventh bubble. Repeat all steps as described above to twist all dark balloons and attach them to the light green balloon. It is easier to twist and attach one balloon at a time.
Here is the Christmas tree with two dark balloons (Pic 26).
Here is the Christmas tree with three dark green balloons (Pic 27).
And finally, here is the Christmas tree with four dark green balloons (Pic 28).
You can keep the seventh bubble of the light green balloon or you can cut it off and tie the end (Pic 29).
Congratulations, you have made the Christmas tree. You can dress up the Christmas tree in many different ways. I like to attach a five points star to the top of the Christmas tree. Simply lock the free end of the eleventh bubble of the star between the first and the second bubbles of the light green balloon (Pic 30 and 31).
Use different color balloons to make garlands. Lock the nozzle of red balloon to the top of the tree. Twist a chain of five red one—inch bubbles. Lock the free end of the red chain to the second dark green bubble. Twist another chain of red one—inch bubbles. Lock the free end of the second red chain to the fifth dark green bubble. Twist the third chain of five red one—inch bubbles. Lock the free end of the third chain to the eighth dark green bubble (Pic 32).
Repeat steps as described above using different color balloons to dress up your tree in spirally way (Pic 33 through 35).
