Inflate a balloon leaving a four—inch flat tail (Pic 1).
The first two bubbles you twist in the ear twists to make the mouth/lips. Twist the first soft one—inch bubble (Pic 2).
Twist the second soft one—inch bubble (Pic 3).
Lock both ends of the chain of two (the first and the second) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 4). This step is marked with arrows between points A and C on the scheme.
Lock both ends of the first or the second bubble in one lock twist. Twist the first and second bubbles in opposite directions. You have made the mouth/lips (Pic 5). This step is marked with arrows between points B and C on the scheme.
The next three bubbles you twist in the bird body twist/fold. Twist the third three—inch bubble (Pic 6).
Twist the fourth five—inch bubble (Pic 7).
Lock both ends of the chain of the last two (the third and the fourth) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 8). This step is marked with arrows between points C and E on the scheme.
Twist the fifth three—inch bubble (Pic 9).
Lock the free end of the fifth bubble between the third and fourth bubbles (Pic 10 and 11). This step is marked with arrows between points D and F on the scheme.
The next two bubbles you twist to make the ears. Twist the sixth six—inch bubble (Pic 12).
Twist the seventh sixth—inch bubble (Pic 13).
Lock both ends of the chain of the last two (the sixth and the seventh) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 14). This step is marked with arrows between points F and H on the scheme.
Lock both ends of the sixth or the seventh bubble in one lock twist (Pic 15 and 16). This step is marked with arrows between points F and G on the scheme. The rest of the balloon is the eighth bubble. It’s the neck.
Fix all bubbles in proper positions (Pic 17 through 19).
Use a different color balloon to make the eyes. Inflate and tie off one soft five—inch bubble (Pic 20 through 22). Cut off the rest of the balloon. Lock both ends of the eye bubble to the base of the ears
Force the eye bubble between the bubbles of the muzzle. Keep the longest bubble above and two short bubbles below. Bend the longest (the fourth) bubble of the muzzle to make the loop wider (Pic 23).
Force the eye bubble half way through the loop (Pic 24 and 25).
Use the permanent marker to draw the face (Pic 26). You have made the head.
Lock the ninth bubble between the front legs and the body (Pic 28).
You may lock both ends of the ninth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 29). Congratulations, you have made the baby deer.
