How to make balloon frog


Materials: a balloon; an air pump and a permanent marker.

Inflate a balloon leaving a five—inch flat tail (Pic 1).

The first two bubbles you twist to make the eyes. Twist the first two—inch bubble (Pic 2).

Twist the second two—inch bubble (Pic 3).

Lock both ends of the chain of the two (the first and the second) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 4). This step is marked with arrows between points A and B on the scheme. You have made the eyes.

Twist the third three—inch bubble (Pic 5).

Twist the fourth six—inch bubble (Pic 6).

Lock both ends of the fourth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 7). This step is marked with arrows between points C and D on the scheme.

Force and fix the third bubble in the loop of the fourth bubble (Pic 8 through 10). The eyes bubbles stay on one side of the loop and the third bubble protrudes on the other side of the loop. You have made the head.



Twist the fifth soft one—inch bubble (Pic 11).

Lock both ends of the fifth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 12 and 13). This step is marked with arrows between points D and E on the scheme. This bubble helps you to keep the head of the frog in a fixed position.


Twist the sixth one—inch bubble (Pic 14). It’s the neck of the frog.

The next four bubbles you twist to make the arms of the frog. Twist the seventh two—inch bubble (Pic 15).

Twist the eighth two—inch bubble (Pic 16).

Twist the ninth two—inch bubble (Pic 17).

Twist the tenth two—inch bubble (Pic 18).

Lock both ends of the chain of the last four (the 7th through the 10th) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 19). This step is marked with arrows between the points F and H on the scheme.

Lock both ends of the chain of two (the 7th and 8th) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 20 through 22). This step is marked with arrows between points F and G on the scheme. At the same time you lock both ends of the chain of two (the 9th and 10th) bubbles in one lock twist. This step is marked with arrows between points G and H on the scheme.



Twist the eleventh one—inch bubble (Pic 23). It’s the body.

The next four bubbles you twist to make the legs. Twist the twelfth two—inch bubble (Pic 24).

Twist the 13th two—inch bubble (Pic 25).

Twist the 14th two—inch bubble (Pic 26).

Twist the fifteenth two—inch bubble (Pic 27).

Lock both ends of the chain of the last four  the 12th through the 15th) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 28). This step is marked with arrows between the points K and I on the scheme.

Lock both ends of the chain of two (the 12th and 13th) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 29 through 31). This step is marked with arrows between points J and I on the scheme. At the same time you lock both ends of the chain of two (the 14th and 15th) bubbles in one lock twist. This step is marked with arrows between points J and K on the scheme. The rest of the balloon is the sixteenth bubble. The sixteenth bubble is the tail.



Use the permanent marker to draw the face (Pic 32 through 34). Congratulations, you have made the frog. Have fun and happy twisting :)
