Balloon dinosaur


Materials: two balloons; scissors; an air pump and a permanent marker.

Inflate a balloon leaving a five—inch flat tail (Pic 1).

The first bubble you twist to make the head. Twist the first soft five—inch bubble (Pic 2).

Lock both ends of the first bubble in one lock twist (Pic 3). This step is marked with arrows between point A and B on the scheme.

Twist the second soft one—inch bubble (Pic 4).

Lock both ends of the second bubble in one lock twist (Pic 5). This step is marked with arrows between points B and C on the scheme.

The 2nd bubble helps to keep the head in a fixed position. Twist the third six—inch bubble (Pic 6). It’s the neck.

The next four bubbles you twist to make the front legs. Twist the fourth two—inch bubble (Pic 7).

Twist the fifth one—inch bubble (Pic 8).

Twist the sixth one—inch bubble (Pic 9).

Twist the seventh two—inch bubble (Pic 10).

Lock both ends of the chain of the last four bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 11). This step is marked with arrows between point D and E on the scheme.

The next bubble you twist to make the body. Twist the eighth three—inch bubble (Pic 12).

The next four bubbles you twist to make the rear legs. Twist the ninth two—inch bubble (Pic 13).

Twist the tenth one—inch bubble (Pic 14).

Twist the eleventh one—inch bubble (Pic 15).

Twist the twelfth two—inch bubble (Pic 16).

Lock both ends of the chain of the last four bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 17). This step is marked with arrows between point F and G on the scheme. The rest of the balloon is the 13th bubble. It’s the tail.

Use any light color balloon to make the eyes. Twist and tie off one soft three—inch bubble. Cut off the rest of the second balloon (Pic 18).

Tie both ends of the eye bubble between the head and the neck bubble (Pic 19 through 20).


Force and fix the eye bubble in the loop of the first bubble (Pic 21 through 23).



Fix all bubbles in proper positions. Use the permanent marker to draw the face of the dinosaur (Pic 24). Congratulations, you have made the dinosaur.
