Balloon 5.


Materials: a balloon; sewing thread; scissors and an air pump.

Inflate a balloon leaving a five—inch flat tail (Pic 1).

Twist the first soft one—inch bubble (Pic 2).

Lock both ends of the first bubble in one lock twist (Pic 3). This step is marked with arrows between points A and B on the scheme.

Twist the second three—inch bubble (Pic 4).

Twist the third soft one—inch bubble (Pic 5).

Lock both ends of the third bubble in one lock twist (Pic 6). This step is marked with arrows between point ะก and D on the scheme.

Twist the fourth two—inch bubble (Pic 7).

Twist the fifth soft one—inch bubble (Pic 8).

Lock both ends of the fifth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 9). This step is marked with arrows between points E and F on the scheme.

Twist the sixth three—inch bubble (Pic 10).

Twist the seventh soft one—inch bubble (Pic 11).

Lock both ends of the seventh bubble in one lock twist (Pic 12). This step is marked with arrows between points G and H on the scheme.

Twist the eighth three—inch bubble (Pic 13).

Twist the 9th soft one—inch bubble (Pic 14).

Lock both ends of the ninth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 15). This step is marked with arrows between points J and I on the scheme.

Twist the tenth three—inch bubble (Pic 16).

Twist the eleventh soft one—inch bubble (Pic 17).

Lock both ends of the eleventh bubble in one lock twist (Pic 18). This step is marked with arrows between points K and L on the scheme. The rest of the balloon is the twelfth bubble.

Cut off the twelfth bubble and tie off the end (Pic 19). Congratulations, you have made the digit 5.

Choose appropriate color sewing thread to fix the sculpture in the shape of the digit 5 and to attach it to other letters or digits. After you made and connected all digits and letters in words you can attach the signs you made to a wall with a sticky tape. Flip the digit 5 horizontally to make the digit 2 (Pic 20 and 21).
