Balloon 4


Materials: a balloon; sewing thread; scissors and an air pump.

Inflate a balloon leaving a five—inch flat tail (Pic 1).

Twist the first soft one—inch bubble (Pic 2).

Lock both ends of the first bubble in one lock twist (Pic 3). This step is marked with arrows between points A and B on the scheme.

Twist the second three—inch bubble (Pic 4).

Twist the third soft one—inch bubble (Pic 5).

Lock both ends of the third bubble in one lock twist (Pic 6). This step is marked with arrows between points C and D on the scheme.

Twist the fourth five—inch bubble (Pic 7).

Twist the fifth soft one—inch bubble (Pic 8).

Lock both ends of the fifth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 9). This step is marked with arrows between points E and F on the scheme.

Twist the sixth four—inch bubble (Pic 10).

Lock both ends of the chain of the last five (the second through the sixth) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 11). This step is marked with arrows between points G and B on the scheme.

Twist the seventh four—inch bubble (Pic 12).

Twist the eighth soft one—inch bubble (Pic 13).

Lock both ends of the eighth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 14). This step is marked with arrows between points H and I on the scheme. The rest of the balloon is the ninth bubble.

Cut off the ninth bubble and tie off the end (Pic 15).

Congratulations, you have made the digit 4. Choose appropriate color sewing thread to fix the sculpture in the shape of the digit 4 and to attach it to other letters or digits (Pic 16). After you made and connected all digits and letters in words you can attach the signs you made to a wall with a sticky tape.
