Pop the fourth bubble. You have made the body (Pic 22 and 23).

Use a dark (black) balloon to make the crown of thorns (Pic 24).

You have to tie three knots and each knot should have a small loop. Make a small loop one inch away from the end of the balloon (Pic 25).

Tie a knot with a loop in it (Pic 26).

Tie two more loop-knots and try to make them of the same size (Pic 27 and 28).

Tie the ends of the balloon together (Pic 29).

Cut all three loops with scissors and trim the ends (Pic 30). You have made the crown of thorns.

Stretch and pull the crown of thorns on the head bubble of the doll. Use a permanent marker to draw the face of Christ (Pic 31).

Use a brown balloon to make the crossTie the arms of the doll to the cross using pieces of a balloon (Pic 32 and 33). Use three rubber bands to attach the body to the cross.

You may dress up the doll in underwear. First you have to cut off the sixteenth bubble of the body and tie off the end. Make the underwear by twisting three soft one—inch bubbles. Then lock both ends of each bubble in one lock twist (Pic 34).

Attach the underwear between the body and legs of the doll. Tie the other arm and legs of the doll to the cross (Pic 35 through 37). Congratulations, you have made Christ on the cross. Now (as always) it is the right time to talk with your children about kindnesses and goodwill. This sculpture may help you to start. Have fun and happy twisting :)
