One balloon dog


Materials: a balloon and an air pump.

Inflate a balloon leaving a six—inch flat tail (Pic 1).

Twist the first two—inch bubble. It’s the muzzle (Pic 2).

Twist the second one—inch bubble (Pic 3).

Twist the third one—inch or smaller bubble (Pic 4).

Twist the fourth one—inch bubble (Pic 5).

Lock both ends of the chain of the last three (the second through the fourth) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 6). This step is marked with arrows between points A and B on the scheme. You have made the head.

Twist the fifth one—inch bubble (Pic 7). It’s the neck.

The next three bubbles you twist to make the front legs. Twist the sixth two—inch bubble (Pic 8).

Twist the seventh one—inch bubble (Pic 9).

Twist the eighth two—inch bubble (Pic 10).

Lock both ends of the chain of the last three (the sixth through the eighth) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 11). This step is marked with arrows between points C and D on the scheme.

Twist the ninth three—inch bubble (Pic 12). It’s the body.

The next three bubbles you twist to make the rear legs. Twist the tenth two—inch bubble (Pic 13).

Twist the eleventh one—inch bubble (Pic 14).

Twist the twelfth two—inch bubble (Pic 15).

Lock both ends of the chain of the last three (the tenth through the twelfth) bubbles in one lock twist. This step is marked with arrows between points E and F on the scheme. The rest of the balloon is the thirteenth bubble. It’s the tail (Pic 16).

Make the tail funny by splitting the thirteenth bubble on two bubbles (Pic 17 and 18). Congratulations, you have made the dog.


You may put this dog on a stick/swordSplit the legs of the dog and push the blade of the sword through loops of the rear and the front legs of the dog (Pic 19 and 20). Or you may attach the dog to a hat
