One balloon bike


Supplies: one balloon and an air pump.

Buy balloons on Amazon (paid link): 
 Buy an air pump on Amazon (paid link): 

Inflate a balloon leaving about 12 cm flat tail.


Twist the first about 2-3 cm bubble.

Lock both ends of the first bubble in one lock twist.
 It represents the headlight.

The next two bubbles we twist to make the hand bar. Twist the second about 10 cm bubble.

Lock both ends of the last bubble in one lock twist.

Twist the next about 10 cm bubble. 

Lock both ends of the last bubble in one lock twist. 
The last 2 bubbles should be of the same size. 


Twist the next about 5 cm bubble.

Squeeze the balloon to make it soft.

The next two bubbles we twist to make the front wheel. 
Twist the next soft about 8 cm bubble.

Lock both ends of the last bubble in one lock twist.
It is the inner part of the wheel.

Twist the next about 15-17 cm bubble. 

Lock both ends of the last bubble in one lock twist.
It is the outer part of the wheel.

Force the previous bubble inside of the last bubble. 

We have made the front wheel.


Twist the next about 8 cm bubble.

The next two bubbles we twist to make the rear wheel.
Twist the next soft about 8 cm bubble.

Lock both ends of the last bubble in one lock twist.
It is the inner part of the wheel.

Twist the next about 15-17 cm bubble. 
Make sure to keep about 5 cm bubble at the end of the balloon.
We will need it to make 3 small bubbles!

Lock both ends of the last bubble in one lock twist.
It is the outer part of the wheel. 

Force the previous bubble inside of the last bubble.

We have made the rear wheel.


Twist the next about 2-3 cm bubble.

Split the rest of the balloon on two bubbles. 
Make the last bubble about 1 cm. 

Lock both ends of the previous bubble in one lock twist.
The last two bubble represent the saddle.
Fix all bubbles in proper positions.
Congratulations! We have made a bicycle of one balloon.


The bike looks the same from the sides.
