Inflate a balloon leaving a six—inch flat tail (Pic 1).

The first bubble you twist to make muzzle. Twist the first four—inch bubble (Pic 2).

Twist the second two—inch bubble (Pic 3).

Twist the third two—inch bubble (Pic 4).

Twist the fourth soft two—inch bubble. You have to twist this bubble in the ear twist. To make the ear twist means to lock both ends of one soft small bubble in on lock twist. The bubble for the ear twist should be SOFT. You should be able to feel the touch of your fingers through the bubble if you squeeze the soft bubble between your two fingers. You make it soft by pushing the air out from the bubble (Pic 5) while you are twisting the bubble (Pic 6 through 8). If the bubble comes out too soft or very hard you have to untwist it slightly and push some air in or out of the bubble. Then twist the bubble back.

Twist the fifth three—inch bubble (Pic 9).

Twist the 6th soft two—inch bubble (Pic 10 through 12). You have to twist this bubble in the ear twist. The sixth and the fourth bubbles should be of the same softness and of the same size.

Twist the seventh two—inch bubble (Pic 13).

Lock both ends of the chain of the last five (the third through the seventh) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 14 and 15). This step is marked with arrows between points A and F on the scheme.

You have made a chain of two bubbles and the locked chain of five bubbles (Pic 16).

Push the first bubble half way through the loop of the five bubbles (Pic 17 through 19).

Twist both ends of the fourth bubble in one lock twist. The bubble should be soft enough  to make it easier for you to twist it. Bring the end of the third bubble to the end of the fifth bubble and pull the middle of the 4th bubble away, forming an arch (Pic 20 and 21).

Spin the fourth bubble around itself locking its both ends in one lock twist (Pic 22).

This bubble looks like an ear. You have made the ear twist (Pic 23 and 24). This step is marked with arrows between points B and C on the scheme.

Lock both ends of the sixth bubble in one lock twist. Do it in the same manner as you twisted the fourth bubble (Pic 25 through 27). This step is marked with arrows between points D and E on the scheme.

You have made the head of the bear (Pic 28).

Twist the eighth one—inch bubble. It’s the neck (Pic 29).

The next three bubbles you twist to make the front paws. Twist the ninth two—inch bubble (Pic 30).

Twist the tenth one—inch bubble (Pic 31).

Twist the eleventh two—inch bubble (Pic 32).

Lock both ends of the chain of the last three (the ninth through the eleventh) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 33 and 34). This step is marked with arrows between points G and H on the scheme.

Twist the 12th one—inch bubble (Pic 35). It’s the body.

The next three bubbles you twist to make the rear legs. Twist the thirteenth two—inch bubble (Pic 36).

Twist the 14th one—inch bubble (Pic 37).

Twist the fifteenth two—inch bubble (Pic 38).

Lock both ends of the last three (the 13th through the 15th) bubbles in one lock twist (Pic 39 and 40). This step is marked with arrows between points J and I on the scheme.

Use the permanent marker to draw a face of the bear (Pic 41). Congratulations, you have made the teddy bear. You will use the ear twist to make ears, lips, elbows, knees, heals and to connect balloons and bubbles.
Have fun and happy twisting :)
