Balloon letter I. Balloon number 1

Materials: a balloon; an air pump; sewing thread and scissors.

Inflate a balloon leaving a six—inch flat tail (Pic 1).

Twist the first soft two—inch bubble (Pic 2).

Lock both ends of the first bubble in one lock twist (Pic 3). This step is marked with arrows between points A and B on the scheme.

Twist the second five-inch bubble (Pic 4).

Twist the third soft two—inch bubble (Pic 5).

Lock both ends of the third bubble in one lock twist (Pic 6). This step is marked with arrows between points C and D on the scheme. The rest of the balloon is the fourth bubble.

Cut off the fourth bubble (Pic 7). Congratulations, you have made the capital letter I or the digit 1. Choose appropriate color sewing thread to link the letter I with other letters. As you can see here the light color thread is hardly visible on a light background. After you made and connected all letters in words you can attach the signs you made to a wall with a sticky tape.
