Simply loop the sewing thread a couple times around each small bubble (Pic 14).
Use scissors to pop the the fifth, the tenth, and the fifteenth bubbles to separate the ends of the sculpture. As you may noticed already, we have made three pairs of long bubbles. The first pair we have made using shorter (two inch long) bubbles to represent the middle line of our sculpture. Bring ends of the top of the sculpture closer to each other. Place the two inch long bubble in the middle. Fix bubbles in proper positions using the sewing thread (Pic 15 and 16).
Bring ends of the bottom of the sculpture closer to each other. Place the two inch long bubble in the middle. Fix bubbles in proper positions using the sewing thread. Congratulations, we have made Russian letter Ж (Pic 16).
Use sewing thread to attach our sculpture to other letters to make words (Pic 17).
If you don't use sewing thread then the ends of our sculpture will spread around to form a star (Pic 18). Also, we can use this sculpture as a base to make 3-D star or snowflake. Have fun and happy twisting :)
