Balloon letter Д

Materials: a balloon, an air pump, scissors and sewing thread.

Inflate a balloon leaving about five-inch flat tail (Pic 1).

Twist the first about one-inch bubble. Twist the second soft about one-inch bubble (Pic 2).

Lock both ends of the second bubble in one lock twist (Pic 3).

Twist the third about one-inch bubble. Twist the fourth soft about one-inch bubble (Pic 4).

Lock both ends of the fourth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 5).

Twist the fifth about four-inch bubble. Twist the sixth soft about one-inch bubble (Pic 6).

Lock both ends of the sixth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 7).

Twist the seventh about two-inch bubble. Twist the eighth soft about one-inch bubble (Pic 8).

Lock both ends of the eighth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 9).

Twist the ninth about four-inch bubble. Twist the tenth soft about one-inch bubble (Pic 10).

Lock both ends of the tenth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 11).

Twist the eleventh one-inch bubble. Twist the twelfth soft about one-inch bubble (Pic 12).

Lock both ends of the twelfth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 13).

Twist the thirteenth about one-inch bubble. We are going to use the rest of the balloon to make a connection bubble between the fourth and the tenth bubbles. We have to cut off nicely the rest of the balloon and tie off the end. We can make sure we get the rest part of the balloon in one whole piece. Let's twist the fourteenth soft about one-inch bubble (Pic 14).

Lock both ends of the fourteenth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 15). Twist the fifteenth up to one-inch bubble. Later we are going to pop the fifteenth bubble. Twist the sixteenth soft about one-inch bubble (Pic 15).

Lock both ends of the sixteenth bubble in one lock twist (Pic 16). The rest of the balloon is the seventeenth bubble. We are going to use it to make the connection bubble.

Use scissors to pop the fifteenth bubble (Pic 17).

Untwist and deflate the fourteenth bubble. Tie off the end of the thirteenth bubble (Pic 18).

Untwist and deflate the sixteenth bubble. Also, you can deflate slightly the seventeenth bubble if it is too long. Tie off the end of the seventeenth bubble (Pic 19).

Lock one end of the seventeenth bubble with the fourth bubble of our sculpture (Pic 20).

Bring the sides of our letter Д together in proper positions to measure the size of the seventeenth bubble. Twist the seventeenth bubble. It should be slightly longer than the seventh bubble (Pic 21).

Lock the free end of the seventeenth bubble with the tenth bubble. Cut off the rest of the balloon and tie off the end (Pic 22). Congratulations, we have made the letter Д.

Use appropriate color sewing threads to connect letters in words. Have fun and happy twisting :)
