Balloon ball. How to make a balloon ball

Materials: three balloons and an air pump.

We are going to use three balloons to make a sculpture that you can use as a ball. Inflate each balloon leaving one—inch flat tail (Pic 1 and 2).

Tie both ends of the first (orange) balloon in one knot. This step is marked with arrows between points A and C on the scheme. Find the half size of the balloon (Pic 3). That is the point B on the scheme.

Split the balloon at this point on two bubbles of the same size and lock both ends of each bubble in one lock twist (Pic 4). This step is marked with arrows between points A and B on the scheme. The balloon you twisted looks like a digit 8.

Twist the second (blue) balloon in exactly the same way as you did the first balloon (Pic 5).

Fold the bubbles of the first and the second balloons (Pic 6 and 7).

Force the blue balloon half way inside of the loops of the orange balloon (Pic 8).

Now you have to rotate the blue balloon to hide the knot under the bubbles of the orange balloon (Pic 9 through the 12).

Our next step is to loop the green balloon around the orange balloon. Force the green balloon half way inside the loops of the blue balloon (Pic 13 and 14).

Loop one side of the green balloon over the two bubbles of the orange balloon and force it inside of the bubbles of the blue balloon (Pic 15).

Once again, loop the same side of the green balloon over the bubbles of the orange balloon and force it inside of the bubbles of the blue balloon (Pic 16 and 17). You have made one whole loop of the green balloon around the orange balloon.

Loop the green balloon one more time around the orange balloon (Pic 18 and 19).

Tie both ends of the green balloon (Pic 20 and 21).

Hide the knot of the green balloon under the bubbles of the blue balloon. Move and force the knot of the green balloon under the bubbles of the blue balloon (Pic 22).

Make sure the knot of the orange balloon is hidden under the green bubbles (Pic 23).

The knot of the blue balloon is hidden under the orange bubbles (Pic 24 and 25).

The knot of the green balloon is hidden under the blue bubbles (Pic 26 and 27).

Congratulations, you have made the ball (Pic 28). You can use this ball to play a number of indoor games.
